Nicole Coulon is originally from Flushing, Queens (much like The Nanny named Fran) she grew up in L.I. New York but currently resides in West Hollywood, California. She comes from a large loud Italian family with lots of wonderful sisters. Nicole started her acting career in her second grade play as the Space Mouse, from a young age was very inspired by Annie, The Wizard of Oz, and Willy Wonka. After countless school plays and talent shows she went on to audition for the Long Island High School of Performing Arts and got accepted. She continued her education at the NYC conservatory The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After graduating she performed in plays at the American Globe Theatre and then entered the T.V/Film world working with Judy Lesley at Sinclair Management, CESD, and Abrams Artists agencies, working on shows for CBS, NBC, and MTV. After finishing a movie for ABC Family and the NYC actor right of passage, doing a Law and Order episode she was ready to make the move to LA. She experienced the magic of a cross country road trip with her cousin and sister then settled in on the West Coast. Her first project in Los Angeles was La La Land, (which seemed appropriate) and being directed by Damian Chazelle was a dream. She's worked on many independent films and started writing a comedy series with her creative partner Burdi, as well as produced the first episode.
